A robot that can be rented to act as my alter ego in cities around the world, and when I rent that robot, I can control it from my own home via the Internet, and it will go anywhere I go instead of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The robot is equipped with a camera, display, microphone, speakers, and various sensors, so even I, in Japan, can experience the atmosphere of the place. For example, I can walk the robot through the streets of Paris, see the Eiffel Tower, and stop by an open caf\u00e9. At the open cafes, I can talk to the staff and ask them to serve me tea or recharge my robot’s batteries. You can also walk through the city and chat with passersby. More practically, you can walk into an exhibition hall to see what is on display and talk to the staff to find out about the latest product trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This robot does not need to walk on two legs, so I would prefer a stable robot on wheels. Since it is not a bipedal robot, it is more like an intelligent self-driving car controllable through Internet. It can use a big battery, and if it runs on four wheels, it is stable, so the battery life is good. I am sure he will be able to translate for you, even if he speaks a different language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intelligent does not mean that it has to move all autonomously, so technically it is not that difficult. We just need remote control plus support for the person operating it. As for safety, It’s not like people are going to ride on it, the purpose is to look around slowly, so there is no need to go too fast, and as long as it stays there quietly at least, there is no danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t you want an alter ego rental robot like this? Robots that do physical work in place of people are important, but don’t you want Robots that move in place of people and entertain people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
